Value Delivered

Forest Electric New Jersey’s (Forest NJ) team assisted with solutions to help the customer update their uninterruptable power system (UPS) while not affecting operations.

With our planning and technical knowledge, we were able to complete the upgrade of the system, removing fifteen static switches, which helped free up space in the data room for future growth.

All installation and commissioning deadlines were met, costs came in under budget, and our team created a detailed method of procedures for the project to help eliminate impacts to operations.

Client Objectives

The existing UPSs were antiquated, and the customer needed to replace them while keeping their operations running.

  • Installed 1,000 linear feet of conduit under and above the floor for feeder extensions and refeeds
  • Installed and connected two UPS units into a data room with a raised floor
  • Swapped over two UPS while keeping everything running with minimal downtime
  • Assisted with load bank testing
