Collectors Universe

Project met an aggressive schedule by utilizing BIM and lean construction principles to help ensure smooth delivery.

Value Delivered

Forest Electric New Jersey provided electrical solutions for this 130,000-square-foot office-space build out for Collectors Universe.

Utilizing our in-house BIM engineering department, we designed and prefabricated wiring systems that helped substantially reduce the on-site installation time and meet the client’s demanding schedule. That effort also promoted a lean project, helping achieve just-in-time material delivery, reduce waste and scrap material, minimize congestion on the worksite, and protect equipment waiting to be installed from damage or theft.

Client Objectives

Faced with a rapidly growing business, the client’s new ownership decided to build out this office space to serve as the organization’s East Coast headquarters in an effort to attract top talent from the region. The location will house executive offices as well as space for on-site grading and authentication of rare collectibles.
