Value Delivered

To help Merck achieve their goal of environmentally-responsible use of office and collaboration spaces, Forest Electric New Jersey implemented energy-saving solutions throughout Merck’s seven-floor, approximately 91,000-square-foot Building 32.

We provided components, electrical power distribution, and building management systems that assist Merck’s overall mission to recycle, lower emissions, and reduce power consumption.

Leveraging our engineering department’s building information modeling expertise, we coordinated the work with other trades. We also managed a substantial amount of prefabrication in our own shop, facilitating a streamlined project.

We had materials shipped to our warehouse where we pre-assembled them, which served to minimize on-site waste and installation time. This preassembly in our controlled environment also helped increase site safety and reduce labor needs in the field.
