Thomas Morris, LEED AP
Vice President of Operations
With over thirty years of electrical industry experience, Tom uses his diverse background to deliver superior value and high quality solutions to meet and exceed the expectations of customers of Forest Electric NJ. As Project Executive, Tom is involved with the organization and management of large scale projects, helping to ensure that they are completed on time, on budget and to the complete satisfaction of the client.
After serving as an Intelligence Analyst in the United State Air Force, Tom worked as an Electrical Design Engineer for the National Security Agency in Laurel, MD, and Kallen and Lemelson Consulting Engineers in Princeton, NJ. In 1983 Tom took a position with a successful design-build electrical contractor and has continued to work in the electrical construction industry ever since. Tom has served the industry as an engineer, estimator, project manager and Vice President of Engineering/Estimating.
Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Clayton University, a master’s in business administration from California Coast University as well as other advanced degrees. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a certified family and business mediator with the National Association of Certified Mediators.
The Personal Side
Tom and his wife have a married daughter who is a successful graphics designer in Philadelphia. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, exercising and following the local sports teams.
